Is K2-18b a Hycean Exoworld? With Dr. Nikku Madhusudhan

The search for habitable environments and biomarkers in exoplanetary atmospheres is the holy grail
of exoplanet science. The JWST has provided compelling data on an exoplanet, K2-18b, that may hint it is an hycean exoworld, entirely covered by an ocean. Dr. Nikku Madhusudhan joins John Michael Godier to discuss his teams paper which found carbon dioxide and methane on K2-18b.
