In this video we walk through the OEM steps to change the spark plugs on a 2014-2025 Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee, and RAM 1500 with the 5.7 HEMI engine. We also talk about the importance of making sure you use a torque wrench to torque the spark plugs to 13 ft lbs +- 2 as the HEMI heads are tapered and you risk damaging the engine if you over torque. In addition, we compare the OEM Mopar plug (made by NGK) vs NGK Iridium plug which can be purchased via the NGK label for a fraction of the cost vs the Mopar part number. This process is nearly identical for various other Dodge, Chrysler, and Ram vehicles with the 5.7 HEMI engine including Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger and Charger, and Jeep Wagoneer. #mopar #gearwrench
