If you love XML, this new tool in FileMaker 18 will be very helpful. If XML is not your thing, this will still be a very helpful new tool.

This is quite different than the existing features of: Save Records as XML, Export, or the Database Design Report (DDR). This new script step and menu selection allows you to create and utilize an XML file containing each and every detail of your specific solution.

With the right tools, you will now be able to quickly and easily spot differences between two solutions or two versions of the same solution.

You may not use this every hour of the day, but when the need arises, this will be an invaluable resource to have in your toolbox.
