Quick and Easy Poppies in Loose Watercolor and Pen - Have Fun Turning Blobs into Flowers!

Today I'm revisiting my old friend the poppy, and creating a page of free and easy poppy flowers, buds and seed-heads by putting down loose blobs of color to indicate the petals and leaves, and then giving them character with a pen. I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints for this painting because they include a good range of reds which I could use straight from the pan, and a Fudenosuke TomBow brush pen because it's such a joy making thick and thin lines so easily!
