Concrete lintel was failing, so prior to replacing single-panel garage door with insulated sectional garage door, USS replaced the lintel with a steel beam and core-filled the block below. Steel was sized by Onsite Engineering. Prior to this time-lapse, Gutter Dome protected the gutters from debris -- I suspect freeze-thaw cycle from overflowing rainwater damaged the concrete lintel, since the low spot in the gutter was centered over the garage door.

Todo: paint topcoat on steel beam and wrap wood framing with vinyl-clad aluminum.
