(#3) Montana State vs (#5) Weber State - FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS - Game 8 of the 2022 Season

The Catfight between the two top five FCS powerhouses did not disappoint, as the #3 Montana State Bobcats came away with a win over the #5 Weber State Wildcats 43-38. After throwing an early interception, sophomore QB Tommy Mellott bounced back and had his best game since the SDSU Semifinal game last year. He rushed for 273 yards and 3 TDs, and threw for 140 yards and 1 TD. MSU’s young offensive line once again stepped up to the challenge as they led the way to 347 rush yards, and did so on a team that had only given up 89 rushing yards a game this season. MSU also set the FCS safety record with four safeties, all of which coming off of overshot snaps by the Weber State long snapper. 17 straight home wins is now officially the standalone school record. The Bobcats will have a Bye-Week next week, as they will prepare to travel to Flagstaff on November 5th to take on the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
