2005 Honda Pilot EX Thermostat Replacement with Mahle TX14678D

I had an intermittent P0116 & P0118 for Temperature Sensor High Circuit and Temperature Out of Range. The Temp Sensor ECT 1 near the EGR was checked before considering replacement. With an Ohm Meter, it tested at 2.7 Ohms.

Checking online, many suggested that the common repair was a failing Thermostat and not a Temp Sensor.

In this video I show what steps I took to replace it. Due to the nature of the video, attempt at your own risk. It is assumed you are mechanically inclined to feel comfortable doing this replacement yourself. No liability is taken if done incorrectly or if the wrong part is installed.
