Ilford HP5+ Black and White Film, Not What I Expected

I take out and test my first roll of Ilford HP5+ black and white film on some nature subjects, to see if this film will work for me as a walk around film. I was surprised by my results. The developer I used was Arista Premium Liquid Film developer.
