My name is Dr. Sachin KUBER MS and today we will be discussing the often overlooked but serious condition that men can face - Phimosis. #Phimosis is a condition whereby the foreskin of the penis is too tight and cannot be retracted for washing or for sexual intercourse, and it can cause Cancer, Penectomy, and many other horrible effects.
Phimosis is a condition that is caused by inflammation, infections, or even congenital defects. It can cause an array of problems that range from mild to severe, such as painful erections, difficulty with passing urine, and physical trauma to the penis. In some severe cases, phimosis can cause cancer, penectomy, and other horrible effects.
When it comes to cancer, phimosis can cause cancer in the glans, foreskin, which can spread to other parts of the body. The risk of cancer increases in individuals with phimosis due to the lack of hygiene, which can lead to growths in foreskin cells. Untreated phimosis can also lead to penectomy, which is the surgical removal of all or part of the penis.
Furthermore, phimosis can also cause other issues such as difficulty with passing urine, an inability to achieve erections, an increase in the susceptibility to urinary tract infections, and a decrease in sexual pleasure. It can also lead to psychological issues such as embarrassment, fear, and shame due to the inability to perform basic activities such as urination.
Fortunately, there are treatments available for phimosis. In some cases, it may be possible to treat the condition medically with creams, steroid injections, or even circumcision. In more severe cases, surgical intervention may be needed.
So it's important to be aware of the risks of phimosis and to seek treatment if necessary. While it can be embarrassing to discuss, it's a far better to take action rather than risk having to suffer from any of the horrible effects that can come with having untreated phimosis.
I hope this has been a helpful explanation about the potentially dangerous condition of phimosis. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your doctor or Dr.Kuber Sachin MS Pune,Maharashtra,India.
Thank you for listening and have an excellent day.
