Deftones - Hole In The Earth (Bass Cover)

I never have a definitive top 10 favorite song list of all time, but this is on there somewhere. The first time I heard this was at an amusement park arcade because it was on Guitar Hero 3 Arcade. This was around 2008 and I wanted to play No More Sorrow by Linkin Park but I had to play all the songs in the collection it was in. I knew of some songs from Deftones if I heard them but I didn't really know them and this was my first real exposure to the band. At that point I never really heard anything like this song before and I loved it ever since.

Unfortunately I couldn't play it on my version of Guitar Hero 3 because I had the WII version and iirc there was no store like the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. But 14 years later I learned how to play it on a real instrument! Lot of slides and jumping octaves so it was kinda tricky not to overshoot so I could aim for the fret I wanted to play. Saturday Night Wrist has a lot of bass lines with slides like this and learning from this album has been helping me get better at them. I have one more song I'd really like to learn from this album but I think I need a bit more time before I'm ready for it.
