Very few people know that Ratan Tata used to work as an architect before becoming a businessman. This is the year 1959 when he went to Cornell University in America to do Architech course. After which, he also worked for 2 years as an Architect, in a US company. But at the same time his Grandmother became ill, due to which he had to leave his job and come back to India. Where he, his father JRD Tata gave him work in a factory of his own. Since there was no training program at that time. So Ratan tata ji himself prepared a training program for himself. With the help of which he understood the business very deeply. And even today, he gives credit for his success to the days of those factories.
