Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Makati City

On June 30, 2023, Sts. Peter and Paul Parish celebrated its feast of the Virgen de la Rosa de Macati. The town of Sampiro celebrates the Feast of the Beloved Virgin de la Rosa - the revered Mother, Queen, and Patroness of the town of Makati. A High Mass was held at 8:00 in the morning, led by Rev. Fr. Genaro O. Diwa, SLL - Parish Priest of the Parish of Sts. Peter and Paul. Following the High Mass was the morning procession of the Beloved Virgin de la Rosa de Macati, followed by the Panatang Sayaw.

Despite how modern Makati City is, the community in Makati keeps the traditional activities during its fiesta. The 2023 solemnity of Virgen de la Rosa was indeed special that National Historical Commission of the Philippines declared the Parish of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish a "National Cultural Property." This proves that the love and devotion for the Virgen de la Rosa de Macati was kept and embraced by the community. Making its solemnity traditional and solemn.
