QUICK FIX - How To Fix EVAP Code On Ford Cap-less Car - P0455, P0457 - Explorer, Edge, Fusion

This video demonstrates how to quickly address and fix your p0455 & p0457 codes on a Ford that has the gas cap-less / easy-fuel feature. Only tools you'll need are a funnel that fits in the gas cap (usually located in the spare tire area of your vehicle) and WD-40. The vehicle we worked on is a 2013 Ford Explorer. It had a p0455 & p0457 code. We cleared the debris away from the gas cap inlet with the filter & WD-40 on it. We when cleared the code with our code reader, drove the vehicle about 150 miles, and checked again to see if the code cleared, which it did on our vehicle. If you do not have a code reader, you can disconnect the negative battery for 10-20 minutes then hook it back up and the check engine light should go off.
