China Appeals India Amid Trump Tariff : 23 सितंबर को, चीनी राजदूत शू फेइहोंग ने पीपुल्स रिपब्लिक ऑफ चाइना की स्थापना के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में बोलते हुए, भारत और चीन से आग्रह किया कि वे वैश्विक दक्षिण के हितों की रक्षा के लिए आधिपत्य, टैरिफ युद्धों और व्यापार युद्धों का संयुक्त रूप से विरोध करें। शी-मोदी बैठकों के बाद बेहतर हुए द्विपक्षीय संबंधों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए, उन्होंने स्थिर विकास के लिए चार-सूत्रीय दृष्टिकोण का प्रस्ताव रखा, जिसमें पारस्परिक सम्मान, शांतिपूर्ण सह-अस्तित्व और दोनों पक्षों के लिए लाभकारी सहयोग पर ज़ोर दिया गया। द्विपक्षीय व्यापार 10.4% बढ़कर 102 अरब डॉलर हो गया, जिसमें भारतीयों को 2,65,000 वीज़ा जारी किए गए और कैलाश मानसरोवर तीर्थयात्रा फिर से शुरू हुई, जो एलएसी गतिरोध समाधान के बाद मज़बूत संबंधों का संकेत है।
