US Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft aircrews conduct a rapid crew swap at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. During a rapid crew swap, the aircraft lands, maintenance performs minimal actions for relaunch, aircraft is refueled, and a new crew takes over. U.S. Airmen conduct hot pit refueling of two F-16 Fighting Falcons fighter jet. Hot pit refueling is the process of refueling an aircraft on the ground while the engines continue running. The purpose is to minimize maintenance time and maximize operations.
