Building A Big Wood Chipper Using A Bought Mechanism.  Part One - Connecting to the vintage engine…

I bought their P60 chipper mechanism and I'm setting it up to use with my stationary Bamford SD4 engine. You can see how I made the pulley for it here ..    • Making A Flat-Belt Pulley Wheel From ...  
Of course you could use a tractor or a different engine, but probably an electric motor wouldn't have the power you need (unless you have 3-phase power and an enormous motor). And be careful, ok? These things are lethal!
