Day 16

Well another venture back into Animal Kingdom today. Taking advantage of staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and being so close. This time we were all back together, Megan was feeling much better so at least we could all make it today.

We arrived for early magic hours (although not quite as early as we would have liked) and rope dropped Avatar Flight of Passage. Even with early magic hours there was still a 50 minute or so wait but its so worth it. What a ride, even Holly this time has been converted and loves it now.

After some breakfast we sat down for the Lion King Show. This was the first time since pre-pandemic that we had watched this as it had only just returned last time we were here and we never made it into a show. Still as amazing as i remember.

We had a cheeky ride on Everest although couldnt convince either of the girls to come on with us this time.

We spent a lot of time around the Tree of Life checking out all the different animal carvings that can be found and this is on top of the usual Kilimanjaro Safari of course :)

We went to Rainforest Cafe for dinner, its a handy one as its right at the park entrance, and i know it comes in for a lot of flack but we always really enjoy the food there. Yes its fairly standard food but always a massive portion and cooked well. Weve never had any reason to complain there before and today was no exception. Lovely as always.

Was another long, tiring day to be fair but everyone, especially Meg, held up well.

We are moving hotels again tomorrow so the plan is to do Blizzard Beach during the day and then check in to the new hotel in the evening, freshen up and then head out into Epcot for the evening. So lets see how that goes.
