Font Layout Manager - Detect Layout of UnListed Fonts:
Font Layout Manager is the utility which will help in detecting the Layout and Language of that font. This utility is supported for- Devnagri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Oriya, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam & Assamese Scripts.
This video will give you an idea of how to detect Layout of Unknown Font. The steps of the same are given below-
1. Select some text in the application of which you want to detect the Font Layout and Copy it.
2. Open Font Layout Manager Utility & select the option 'Detect Layout of UnListed Fonts'. After opening this option, data copied from application will be previewed in 'Input Text' section.
3. Select the Script or Language of the data copied.
4. Select the Font Layout one by one from List of Available Layouts. If you get readable text in the Output Text then currently selected layout is the Resultant Layout.
You may get readable text for multiple Font Layouts.
5. In the given text, we get two Font Layouts matching with the Input Text. Therefore, we have to carry out the Conversion by taking both the layouts as Input Font Format.
6. After Conversion with both Font Layouts, we get the Converted text exactly matches with only one Font Layout of the Original Text. So this is the Font Layout of the Original Text.
7. In the given text, the Converted file with Second Layout is showing proper text. So, we get the Font Layout of Original text.
