I try to show how to diagnose and fix a wire feed issue on a mig welder. In my case, a Hobart 135, but applicable to many.

After a few seconds of running wire, the feed motor would slow and stop. A few minutes later, it would start again only to stop. After reading a lot about similar issues, I decided to tackle it myself. I bought the repair parts on Ebay for $11 (Hobart PTC1 repair kit).

Having this welder functional will enable me to better sheet metal repair on my Jeep.
