I’m turning a neglected backyard shed into a hangout space built for community, friends, and slow nights outside. This is Part 1 of a full shed makeover, where I focus on renovating the interior and laying the foundation for a future backyard entertaining space.

This shed was rough when I started—old, worn down, and forgotten—but instead of tearing it down, I’m transforming it into something intentional. In this video, I start the shed renovation, build structure back into the space, and begin turning it into a place designed to hold people, not just stuff.

This project is part of a larger series about starting over, rebuilding a home, and creating the kind of spaces that support real connection. If you want a backyard hangout, a backyard bar, or any kind of gathering space, you have to build it—physically and intentionally.
