AC Motor Centrifugal Start Switch Repair

Описание к видео AC Motor Centrifugal Start Switch Repair

There is a start switch, centrifugal rotating switch, and start capacitor which starts some ac electric motors.
When the motor is stopped, the collar on the rotating centrifugal switch is pushed outwards toward the start switch so it is in an open position. This allows for the start capacitor to give a boost of energy to spin the electric rotor inside.
Once the motor is turning the centrifugal switch weights fly outwards, which then pulls the collar away from the start switch to close the contacts then the normal 120v ac current keeps the motor turning.
If any of these 3 components don’t work correctly, the electric motor will just hum and not turn..
In this video the motor had a problem with the centrifugal/rotating switch..
Watch how this motor was repaired and now starts like it should.
