Canada’s aerospace industry is thriving. Aerospace companies from around the world choose Canada because it presents an exciting opportunity for investment, growth and innovation. At the Farnborough International Airshow this year, Mike Mueller, Senior Vice President of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) explained more about Canada’s diverse aerospace industry. With strengths in aeronautics, aerospace engineering, civil aircraft, flight simulators, and turboprop, helicopter and turbofan engines, innovation is soaring in Canada. The country’s extensive supply chains, advanced manufacturing expertise and global trade footprint are key advantages that global aerospace companies like Rolls Royce, Boeing Canada, Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney Canada and many more enjoy. Furthermore, Canada has the most educated workforce in the OECD and the lowest cost structure among G7 countries, positioning Canada as an ideal place for global aerospace companies to invest and expand.

Supported by a thriving community of academia and investors, world-class talent, and government support, global companies find what they need to expand and grow in Canada. One of Canada’s initiatives that supports manufacturing is Canada’s Next Generation Manufacturing Supercluster.
