New Lamborghini Twin Turbo V8 Huracan Replacement

Lamborghini is set to replace its iconic V10 engine with a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 in the Huracán successor. This high-revving engine reaches a remarkable 10,000 rpm, delivering 789 horsepower and 538 pounds-foot of torque. It features a flat-plane crankshaft, “hot-vee” turbo placement, and a hybrid system similar to the Revuelto. Paired with an axial-flux electric motor and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the setup promises outstanding performance. Lamborghini's first flat-plane V-8, equipped with advanced valvetrain technology, will debut in the new Huracán successor this August.
