Next World Tarot Full Flip Through

This is a 78 card deck based on the RWS system. As you can see, the images are very detailed. The creator made the deck quite a bit larger than your original tarot deck. It’s measurements are 6”X4”. So, it’s quite a large deck. The cardstock is flexible enough that you can riffle shuffle from corner to corner. Overhand shuffling is a bit cumbersome. So, keep this in mind if you decide to order the deck. The deck comes with a small guidebook that provides descriptions and meaning for each card. The cards in the Major Arcana include astrological and planetary correspondences. Some of the titles have been changed. The Minor Arcana come with a keyword and planetary correspondence. The Court cards each have a unique title in addition to the traditional title. The concept of this deck is based on what I can tell, political activism or social activism. It’s very diverse in its depictions of people which I’m sure a lot of people will appreciate. It puts people in real world situations which I think brings the tarot down to a more practical level. I’m quite pleased with this deck. The box it comes in is a bit flimsy so I’m pretty sure I’ll get a bag to put it in at some point. I did have a couple cards that were damaged on the borders. I reached out to the creator and asked if she could send me a couple replacement cards and she said she didn’t have extras. She said if there were something wrong with the image itself, she would replace the deck but being that the damage was on the borders she couldn’t help. That was a bit disappointing but I understand.
The creator of the deck is Cristy C. Road. It is independently published. Cristy is currently out of copies but if you go to croadcore.org, she has provided a list of independent shops that may carry them. I was fortunate to find one that shipped out. The name was Blue Stockings Books.
