Colca Canyon 3-day Trek, Peru | Hiking in World's Deepest Canyon + TIPS | South America Hiking

Hike through Colca Canyon, one of the best hikes in Peru and South America. We trekked for 3 days through the Colca Canyon classic trail, discovering so many amazing vistas amid the world's deepest canyon.

Tip:
-Check bus schedule from Arequipa to Cabanaconde beforehand as it frequently changes, and buy the ticket in advance at Arequipa bus station
-For the best view, choose the bus seat at the right hand side
-Leave your tent and unnecessary items in one of the lodgings in Cabanaconde and hike light through tge canyon (we stayed in Pachamama Hostel and they would gladly store your items)
-Prior reservation is generally not needed for the lodgings in the canyon, but you can always ask your hostel in Cabanaconde to do it for you for more peace of mind
-The lodgings in the Sangalle oasis can be pretty crowded, so it might be wise to book a room
