Today, Bún, Bin, and I had a meaningful day as we organized a Mid-Autumn Festival party for underprivileged children at the school. Early in the morning, we started making delicious mooncakes, carefully crafting each one with love and care. Bún and Bin were excited to join in, helping me with everything from kneading the dough to wrapping the cakes, making our family atmosphere even more warm and cozy.

As the afternoon came, we brought the prepared mooncakes to the school, where the children were eagerly waiting. Their laughter echoed throughout the schoolyard, creating a festive atmosphere filled with warmth and love. The beaming faces and bright eyes of the children as they held their mooncakes made today even more special.

Along with the fun and games, Bún, Bin, and I reminded the children about the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival—that it’s not just a time to enjoy tasty cakes and play with lanterns, but also an opportunity to share and spread love to friends who are less fortunate. This was a moment I wanted my children to feel the value of compassion and empathy, helping create a complete and unforgettable Mid-Autumn Festival for all the kids.
