"In a significant political development, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) led by Rajendra Lingden and RPP Nepal led by Kamal Thapa have officially merged. The two leaders signed a 6-point foundation paper in Kathmandu, establishing a unified front dedicated to a Hindu Kingdom, Constitutional Monarchy, and a liberal economy. While Lingden continues as the Party President, Kamal Thapa described the move as a 'homecoming' to the party he spent decades building. The merger aims to consolidate the nationalist force in Nepal, emphasizing that street movements are the only way to establish their core agenda."
