We got some chicks from Paragon Ridge Ranch after our chickens failed to sit properly on the eggs we were trying to hatch underneath them but it wasn't their fault. We had our automatic chicken door close unexpectedly during the day ultimately locking out hens out of the coop during cold weather. When the hens couldn't sit on the eggs the eggs get to cold and the baby chicks inside die due to the cold.
