Chordplay - The Chords Of Death

Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of Death. I've had a number of requests to feature more of Death's music after I featured the late-great Chuck Schuldiner in a Three-For-All lesson about two years ago during Metal Month, so I figured it was time to finally take a look at some of the pioneering/ legendary chord and rhythm work hiding in Death's music - so let's dive in!

The chord-based ideas found in this lesson revolve around the two-guitar interplay you'll find in Death's music. As I listened to Death's albums while putting this lesson together, I couldn't help but notice the abundance of dual guitars working together in a number of their songs, so I decided to feature that area of their music in this lesson. The songs targeted in this lesson include tracks such as 'The Philosopher,' 'Spiritual Healing,' 'Evil Dead,' 'Bite The Pain,' 'Killing Spree,' 'Empty Words,' and more!
