FIRST NIGHT in our new VAN 😻 VLOG #95

We've spent the our first night in the van 😻. After picking the van up a few days ago, we were absolutely desperate to get out in it and spend some time outside again so we chucked our stuff into the van and that was us off. We went up to a place called Aikengall and spent our first ever night in our new van. The inside of the van isn't quite ready yet as I've still got the fridge to put in and a few cupboards to move around before that, but what do you think of it so far? We think it's absolutely perfect and it's got everything we need❤️. The next day we went up to a nearby reservoir where I wanted to go paddle boarding, which is perfect now that I know Nala's safe in the van in the meantime, but the weather turned around so quickly that I thought it's better spending the afternoon with Nala. We decided to head home again for a few days to finish up the wee jobs like bringing up the curtains and getting the fridge in, but we'll be out in the van as soon as they are done.

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together.
