Unboxing and first shine of TLB Mallorca Douglas Wingtip Adelaide in Old England Marron Medio

TLB is really packing a lot of goodness into their shoes for a surprisingly low price. I was already impressed with their Artista line and half expected the standard line to be a bit underwhelming...I couldn't be more wrong.
The Douglas is an intriguing design with Adelaide broguing around the eyelets but instead of a typical cap toe it features a wingtip toe design minus the medallion. The Old England Marron Medio is a light to mid brown hand painted finish. Really nice depth to the color. The last shape is a rounded soft almond shape with great balance. Not too blunt and not too pointed...perfect. The leather looks and feels great. Goodyear welted with a closed channel sole. While not as narrow as the Artista line it still has a pretty narrow beveled waist and closely cut heel. Really sleek! Thats a whole lotta shoe for about 302 euros or $330 us.

Note: I sized down half from my normal UK size and they fit perfectly.
For reference I took the same size in TLB as I do in Carlos Santos, J. Fitzpatrick and my own brand Michael Darren Shoes. It is half size down from Carmina (Rain and Simpson) and Meermin (Hiro and Elton). Others however have found they fit true to size. If you tend to run in-between sizes like me size down, if your more consistent then your normal UK size should work which is 1 less than your US size.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'm always open to some good shoe discussion.

I shined them up using Pure Polish Products which are all natural and have found deliver similar results to Saphir. Really excellent and they smell like oranges:

The handy water dispenser is from my friends at ShoeCareShop:
