Usability and User Experience are essential success factors for every digitalization project. Or to state it the other way around: If Usability and User Experience are not integral part of the quality assurance process in a project, the project will (definitely) fail.
This presentation introduces the certification scheme “Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience (CPUX). The meaning of the terms usability and user experience will be clarified by using practical examples and the certification requirements for the foundation level and the advanced levels will be introduced.

About Thomas Geis, Chairman UXQB e.V.:

Thomas Geis has been a full-time usability professional since 1993. After 10 years of usability testing, he specialized in user requirements engineering and structural product design. Thomas is editor of several ISO standards for usability and user experience.
