Predaplants - Failed Cards, Archetypes, and Sometimes Mechanics in Yu-Gi-Oh

A DARK plant-type archetype run by a sociopathic duelist hell-bent on making every duelist’s life he sees a living hell is all the proof we need to prove that vegans are evil. One thing for sure is that Predaplants did way better in the anime than in the actual TCG, which is heartbreaking to hear, seeing that they’ve had a unique impact on the game. While the deck just couldn’t find a way to break through, parts of the archetypes became engines in the game that helped shape formats and deck builds, be it in the Main or Extra Deck. So, how does a deck with a solid type and one of the strongest attributes in the game fail?
