Welp, I can officially say that I've now FINALLY crossed Evolution 200 off my list of Next Gen Elevator models I haven't been on....Now all I need to do is find and ride a TK AGILE!

These elevators I have to say were very impressive! This garage opened in Summer of 2021 and is one of several New TK Evolution 200s to have been recently installed in Downtown Tampa and one of likely many more to come, and all I have to say is that i am IMPRESSED!

I've gone around for MANY YEARS stating that TK made some of the WORST MRLs EVER behind only KONE, and the reason being is that the Synergy pretty much struck me as being an EcoDisc but without KONE's glitchy controllers and stainless steel cabs.
The Synergies mechanically often didnt run all that great, and they often made horrible noises and just felt cheap overall and had the same crappy design that the EcoDiscs have with them attempting to design the Synergy to be more like a Traditional Traction Elevator with Steel Ropes as opposed to Belts but shrunk to fit in the shaft with the belts being smaller than Traditional Tractions.

Well, TK has totally addressed ALL OF THIS with this new model! Thanks to TK switching over to the steel belt design that Otis Gen2 and Schindler 3300/5500 use (which is the layout God intended for MRL Elevators to have), these sound and run WAY better, are WAY smoother and are WAY quieter than the Synergy!!! The only noises these make come from the new Motor, which IMO sounds pretty EPIC and is one of the best that I've ever heard on a modern elevator!

Sure, you could argue that this elevator's mechanical design is a ripoff of the Gen2, however, it certainly isn't a bad one, and thanks to TK's better quality fixtures that don't feel flimsy AT ALL, I can officially and gladly say that the TK Evolution 200 is now my 2nd Favorite MRL Traction Elevator System!!!
The only thing beating it is the Mitsubishi DiamondTrac, which will likely never be beaten. But until the other Manufacturers step up their game, this new MRL is now my 2nd favorite one available!

This particular bank of elevators had pretty basic stainless steel cabs as expected from a parking deck elevator, but i have other Evolutions to come on this channel that have much nicer cabs, so stay tuned for those!

In the meantime though, enjoy my video of what are my VERY FIRST TK Evolution 200 MRL Traction Elevators, which i was very impressed by!

Installed in 2021.
