Grand Prismatic Spring Midway Geysers: The Grand Prismatic Spring located Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world. It is truly a wonder to behold and one of the most popular attractions and lots of people.
Fairy Falls overlook is a must stop to view Grand Prismatic Spring. Come on a sunny to partly sunny day around noon or later for better experience. Intense experience with a few clouds and the changes in color!
Old Faithful and Old Faithful Inn two are the famous attraction in the park. Watching Old Faithful Geyser erupt is a Yellowstone National Park is tradition and experience not to miss. You can find schedule in the lodge. You can watch also from the comfort of Old Faithful Inn Patio and have a drink or two :).
Tour the Upper Geyser Basin that is home to the largest numbers of geysers feature found in the park. We never made it to Morning Glory Pool through upper Geyser Basin and made separate hike to it.
Morning Glory Pool is a hot spring in the Yellowstone Upper Geyser Basin. The easiest hike is through pave road that starts near Old Faithful Inn.
West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin on the shores of Yellowstone Lake. It has great boardwalks allowing you an easy view of the many hot pools with Yellowstone lake as a backdrop.
Fountain Paint Pots located in Lower Geyser Basin. They got its name for the reds, yellows and browns of the mud in this area. The differing colors are derived from oxidation states of the iron in the mud.
Firehole Falls is a waterfall on the Firehole River in southwestern Yellowstone National Park. The falls are located approximately 0.5 miles upstream from the confluence of the Firehole and Gibbon Rivers at Madison Junction.
Hayden Valley - Is the area not to miss on your trip. You will experience Bison jam and observe bison herd, eagles, bears, wolves. We sadly missed pack of wolves by about 15 minutes.
Norris Geyser Basin is the the hottest geyser basin in Yellowstone. The basin is comprised of two distinct sections: The Back Basin is in a forest settings and The Porcelain Basin is characterized by a lack of vegetation. During our visit we visited The Porcelain Basin.
