The DA says Home Affairs Minister Dr Leon Schreiber has not jumped the
gun when he made the announcement on the signing of an agreement
granting visa-free access to South Africa for Ukrainian holders of
diplomatic, official and service passports and vice versa.

DA deputy spokesperson for international relations and cooperation
Ryan Smith says the announcement was made by DIRCO earlier in the day,
and that the minister was announcing what was already announced.

He says Schreiber was not undermining President Cyril Ramaphosa.
