🇻🇳BANH MI BO KHO: Place lemongrass in a pot with oil. Grind garlic, ginger and purple onions and add to pot, then add Vietnamese curry leaves and five-spice powder. Brown the beef short ribs on all sides, then add in water, sugar and salt and cook for 2-3 hours. Continue adding the tendons in the broth and allow it to steam for another 2 hours. Add carrots and onions into the broth and let it steam for 30 minutes. After that, add beef stock in the broth pot. Season it with more lemongrass, corn powder, water, sugar, MSG and salt. To serve, place the meat and tendons in the bowl, then add the broth and carrots. Garnish with herbs. Enjoy with dipping peanut sauce or chili sauce.
