Sabaton - Counterstrike (English Lyrics)

The six day war took place in june of 1967 after a long period of tension between Israel and Egypt which resulted in Israel launching a series of pre-emptive strikes on Egyptian runways, devastating the Egyptian air force. Jordan and Syria quickly entered the war as opposition to Israel under the assumption that Israel's air force had been defeated. This lack of intelligence proved critical as Israeli CAS fighters obliterated invading forces.
The ceasefire was signed on the 6th day of the war, bringing the third Arab-Israeli war to an end.
