I wanted to vid this song with One Tree Hill, because the second episode was so heartbreaking and perfect for this song but after I watched Redblad's video to this song, I felt extremely inspired to vid Damon/Blair with this song. Her video is flawless, so emotional and she always gives me this incredible inspiration, so I dedicate this video to her, this amazing vidder who was the first to create this couple (Damon/Blair) and who always makes me want to vid them over and over again! I dedicate this video to this kind and beautiful person, I know you're going through the difficult times now and I have to say I started this video before I've learnt about everything... After that I decided to make a happy ending for them in this vid to show that even the saddest story could have a happy end. You need time, because nothing else could help. Someday the pain will go away and you could smile, I believe in that.

The plot was simple in my head, but turned out weird in the vid. Basically Damon and Blair were together during 145 years, so the story is like "what if it wasn't Katherine, it was Blair". They have difficult relationships, Blair cheated on Damon, he was too cruel to her sometimes, and finally Blair decided to say that she don't love him anymore and let him go, because it will be simpler for both. But at the end she realized, she loves him so much, "it consumes he" and she can't live without him. The shoe that Blair gives to Damon is the symbol of their new life, their own fairytale that had begun.
