The USDJPY is selling off, and the USD Index has been moving lower. If you trade FX, this is important and you will want to better understand the carry trade, and what is happening within the foreign exchange world.
The Federal Reserve has met last week and left interest rates where they are. However, the Fed also shifted in its policies of reducing its balance sheet. This is due to the fact that the economy is beginning to contract. Money is moving through the system, and USDJPY has been moving lower. Other FX currencies are also moving downward.
