Here's an example training session demonstrating two core principles.

Firstly, within a session and over the months and years of a programme of training, you should start easy and work your way up to hard breaks. You wouldn't set out to run marathons by running marathons in your first week. Build up over time, and create a history of success, both within any particular session and over the years.

Second, listen to your current state. If you're on a roll, keep rolling. But if it stops working, stop working. Don't limit yourself if you're having a really good day - go for it and see how high you can go!

On the other hand don't bounce off boards and pointlessly harm your body or mind. You can't score points towards grading or a medal in a training session. It's just one session of many.
