A huge and problematic recurring theme I see is people believing they aren't worthy of help. More often than not this is a conditioned response when someone has had to put the needs of others first for a long time and can cause people to not seek help when they truly need it.

Of course if someone else was to come to this person and be struggling then they would always think OTHERS deserve help, they just don't deserve it themselves.

We need to overcome this because deserving help is not some hierarchy where only the person with the worst life in the world is worthy and sometimes getting help early (even before you think you fully deserve it) can be greater in the bigger picture because it helps you to get help before the situation gets too huge!
