An absolute failure - how NOT to do the ultra-shiny Neocolor I background | Adult Colouring

I'm not even sure what to write about this video.
It is NOT a tutorial.
It is NOT a colour-along.
It's the colouring epitome of what has turned out to be a not-very-good summer for the Colouring Chemist household.
I really hope I can save this page somehow.
We'll see...

And if anyone would like to know how to get the best effect for that ultra-shiny Neocolor I background, here's the best advice:
1. The Neocolor I metallic crayons work best. The regular Neocolor I crayons are too sticky and Crayola crayons are WAY too sticky.
2. Use one colour only - multiple colours don't blend well with burnishing pressure.
3. Lay down your one colour of crayon with burnishing pressure over the whole background.
4. Periodically dust off the crayon crumbs so they don't end up smeared on the image or on other pages.
5. Once the whole background is coloured and you've gotten rid of any stray crumbs, use a facial tissue on your finger and gently rub in small circles over the top of the crayon background until it's shiny. Try not to rub over your uncoloured image because the colour from the background will smear into the uncoloured areas. If it does, you can erase it a bit with an electric eraser.

Now to try to cover up all the crayon smears on the back of the page and the facing page...
