Congress has just proposed a NEW stimulus plan that would inject trillions of dollars into the U.S. economy. In this video, we'll go over what this means for you and how you would benefit from it. Additionally, we will go through the intricacies of this bill which are important to understand!

The Automatic Boost to Communities Act (ABC Act) basically provides people with a $2,000 one time payment as well as $1,000 recurring payment each month. The new and interesting part about this plan is they want to pay people using a Boost debit card, which is essentially just a normal debit card you can use at any store or online. You can also use it to withdraw cash.

After this, the card would get reloaded with money each month, make it a lot easier for many Americans. It also makes it so that people without bank accounts or the ability to cash checks, will get a stimulus payment.

The craziest thing about this bill is that it gives this money to everyone. If you're alive, you get the money. It also extends out to one year after the pandemic ends.

They will have numerous ways to get the debit cards out to people, including mail, in person pickup, and in person delivery.

The whole point of this bill is to "chip away at economic inequality in our society" according to Congresswoman Tlaib, who was one of the creators of the bill.

Interestingly enough, they will be making two $1T platinum coins, which would "create" the money needed for this stimulus plan.

Remember, these are all just proposals. But the fact that they have been proposed means that they could make their way to the final bill in some way shape or form. It will be interesting to see where this leads.
