Despite initial doubts, Peter followed the vision and met with Cornelius, who had already prepared a gathering for Peter's arrival.

Peter's Preaching to Cornelius
Peter preaches to Cornelius and his household, declaring that God shows no partiality and that Jesus is Lord of all. He recounts the story of Jesus' anointing with the Holy Spirit and his resurrection, commanding them to preach and testify that Jesus is the judge of the living and the dead. As Peter speaks, the Holy Spirit is poured out on the listeners, including the Gentiles, and they speak in tongues and magnify God. Peter then asks if anyone can prevent these new believers from being baptized, and he commands them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.
