Описание к видео Consumerism Ethics: Right to Repair | Nuthawat (Nuth) Rojratchadakorn | TEDxYouth@ISBangkok

I will be discussing the powerful ethics of consumerism in the technological age. As we become more reliant on technology, it has also given companies various methods to control their users through zealous means. In the tech industry, companies are limiting the repairability of their products to boost sales, which strips consumers of their rights unbeknownst to them. Nuth is a 17 year old student in his first year at ISB. He lived all of his life in Thailand, coming from an international school background. He has interests in basketball, technology, automotive, entertainment media, and video-games. His interests have all culminated in his strong passion and eagerness towards technological innovation and engineering. If you do catch him in his free time, he enjoys socializing with friends or taking naps. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
