I tried to get this loadout as close to the Halo/ODST lore as possible while still being somewhat viable. According to the lore ODSTs did have access to orbital and close air support but I found it difficult to find more specifics regarding that, so I brought along the Orbital Precision Strike (MAC round), AMR (sniper rifle), Commando (rocket launcher) and jump pack (bullfrog ODST variant). G-12 High explosive is as close to the lore I can get while still being viable. According to lore, they did have access to frags and high explosive grenades, as well as some form of C4 charges which I would love to see added to the game. Dynamite just didn’t feel like it fit very well. Of course you gotta bring the only 2 suppressed guns in the game too SMG and socom. This loadout does not work very well against war strider seeds and is meant to be hit and run. This is not a loadout you want to try and stand your ground with. This was a fun run though and really gets you into ODST character. That being said, the game’s stealth mechanics or lack thereof, desperately needs to be reworked to really make this style of play more realistic and useable. I find it’s not always 100% consistent and some missions seem to be less agro’d than others. Enjoy and happy hunting!
