Train driver Benjamin Gimbert (41) and fireman James Nightall (22) are hauling a 51-wagon train carrying 400 TONS of aircraft bombs. It's a routine run before D-Day. But at 1:45 AM they notice flames - the first wagon is ON FIRE.

At this moment they face a choice: jump off and run, saving their own lives... Or try to save 3,000 villagers, knowing their chances of survival are almost zero.

What they did next would go down in history as one of the greatest acts of heroism in WWII Britain.
