Fun fact!
While Odysseus' forgiveness for Eurylochus comes from the better place and genuine care for him, Penelope's one not so much. She couldn't exactly work through all that in a healthy way on Ogygia. It was more like just thinking and thinking, while desperately trying to not show much emotions with Antinous, since he would use the occasion. So Penelope's mindset develop more into "if Im stuck here, is there any reason to care anymore?". Would she forgive Ctimene if they all turned out okay? Probably. It would take time and not be all super doopey, but it would be a healthier and more genuine one.
