Mr. Delawar Hossain Sayedee is a renowned scholar of Islam in Bangladesh as well as in the whole golobe. He is an artful orator, popular leader and organizer. Such competency made his political opponents so much jealous.

Mr. Sayedee was born in Pirojpur on 2 February 1940. His father's name is Maulana Yousuf Sayedee, who was also a very good orator and 'peer' (saint).
Mr.Sayedee completed his primary education from a local Islamic Madrasah established by his father. After that he had admitted to Sarsina Darus Sunnat Alia Madrasah and passed Dakhil examination (SSC level) in 1957. Thereafter in 1960 he passed Alim examination with 3rd Division from Baruipara Siddiquia Senior Madrasa. According to the examination certificate at that time his age was 19 years 01 month.

After that we could not find any evidence showing his formal study. But he took self study in different branches of Islamic knowledge, such as Uloomul Hadith, Tafseer and Fiqhul Hadith, Political Science, Economics & Foreign Affairs. Along with this Mr. Sayedee had done different researches in the Languages and the beliefs and the ideas throughout five years.
